When you plug into to shore power and click on the breaker at the pedestal, you should hear your transfer switch click. If not, then either power is not getting to it, or the transfer switch bit-the-dust (It might be stuck in the generator position.)
With a Winnebago Adventurer, shore power is the default (coil not activated)mode. It pulls in when the generator starts producing power.
