We have had the 03 Fleetwood Rev. Inside and plugged in to a 30amp 120 circuit for 2 months. Getting ready to take off next Monday and noticed that the battery state on the indicator was not showing full charge. And the load meter is not showing anything. No lights on at all. The xantrex is showing 30 amp in breaker amps and a <10 and 11.5 DC volts. And it is on invert. Help.

Actually, most house batteries DO charge with the salesman switch in the off position. But easy to see how your works. Merely turn on the switch and see if the battery voltage comes up.Sounds like an issue with the charger section of the inverter/charger. Inverter switch should have no impact on charger function.

Got power at the 30 amp plug?Any AC power anywhere?Does the inverter automatically charge, does it have to manually be set to charge?Blown fuse or tripped breaker in or out of the charger?How old are the batteries, when is the last time you checked water and connections?

The store / use switch has been off for a long time. The outlet that the coach is plugged into is hot. The inverter has one lite on steady and the one next to it is flashing once per second.

With the unit plugged in, and the switch (if equipped) closed, measure the voltage at the battery terminals. If it's not about 13.8 volts or higher, a converter malfunction is the likely culprit. To troubleshoot the converter: 1. Disconnect AC shore power and the negative battery terminal.2. Remove the converter from it's enclosure. But do not disconnect the electrical connections.3. Check near the 12V output leads on the converter for any fuses. Check them visually and with your ohm meter to make sure they are not blown.4. Carefully reconnect to AC shore Power.5. Place your volt meter leads on the 12V output terminals and verify that there is DC voltage. If not, the Converter has malfunctioned and needs to be replaced.6. If there is DC voltage at the converter, then you need to trace the wiring from the converter to the battery to find out where the disconnect is. Likely culprits are fuses, relays, open connections or cut wires.If you are not comfortable doing these checks, have an electrician do them or take the unit to an RV service center for evaluation.
