Loosen fuel cap on fuel tank. Remove fuel line from generator fuel pump blow back into tank with compressed air to see if line is clear of debris. Also if you do not hear it bubbling in the tank your fuel line may be higher than the actual fuel level. After you blow line drain some fuel in a can from hose.Reconnect to fuel pump. Now disconnect fuel line from carb. Place end in a can to catch fuel. Turn generator over to prime fuel pump and hose that connects to carb. Once primed reconnect to carb and see if it will start. I let mine sit a while and I couldn't get it to prime. I think it was vapor locked between fuel pump and carb until i did what I just mentioned. I also installed a clear fuel filter in fuel line just before fuel pump so I could crawl under rv and see if fuel is at least to fuel pump from now on. Also heavily treat you fuel with sea foam gas treatment to help get rid of gums and deposits. I know this will bring on the comments but I have had good results with this in all small air-cooled engines.I also treat Mo Ho fuel if I am going to let it sit for long periods of time.
