Good Morning, I'm having a problem with our 2004 Tiffin phaeton 40' motorhome on the freightliner chassis with the cat c-7 engine. We left for a trip and found that we have no headlights, turn signals or hazard lights. I can not find where the fuses are located. I found a fuse block under the center drawer that was marked turn signal power, and in the right rear baggage compartment that is marked left and right turn signal. Both fuses are good. I checked the main electrical cabinets, one is on the outside under the drivers seat and the other one under the bed room tv. Out of the four places that I have looked, I have not found anywhere that says headlights. Does anyone have any other ideas of where I could look?Thanks,Eric

Give Tiffin a call if your manual does not tell you the location.

My '04 Meridian has a light module under the dash, near the floor mounted to the firewall. Everything (chassis lighting) goes thru that module. I had similar symptoms, the fix was a new, and updated, module from Freightliner, about $400' as I recall.

call freightliner help 1-800-385-4357there is a module under the bottom drawer of the center console. you will need to unplug and reinstall to fix problem. that's what the freightliner man had me do. no problem since. that was on my 2004 phaeton

do not know why it quit. just had to be reset. happened only once a year ago. give thanks to freightliner help. they are on call 24-7 and know all information about your phaeton chassis if you have last 6 of vin #

Now why did it quit? Is the module starting to go bad?

no, the module is on the floor, about the size of a pack of cigarette's. just lift the module; it unplugs from the base and plug it back in. I can send you a picture this evening if that will help. will be home about 6:00 pm. send me email or cell number and I will send pic. by email or text if needed. just look on floor after you remove the draws. you should see it. will need a light to see in back of cabinet.

Cajunboy, Is the module in the fuse block under the drawer or is it someplace else. Could you tell me what it looks like? Did un-pluging that module reset it or did you have to replace it?

call freightliner help 1-800-385-4357
there is a module under the bottom drawer of the center console.
you will need to unplug and reinstall to fix problem. that's what the freightliner man had me do. no problem since. that was on my 2004 phaeton
