Although I'm new to Class A RV'ing too, I can't imagine not having levelers to at least stabilize the coach when parked, much less to be able to actually "level" the coach. Of course, there are ways to get around not having them, as has been posted....blocks under the tires, etc. But the convenience of having a button/joystick to push is just too nice not to have when you're on vacation. Having never setup my coach before, my first camping trip took all of 30 minutes to park, level, connect electrical/water, extend the awning and pour an adult beverage. I remember my father trying to level our 17' pull behind Shasta back in the '70s with those hateful jackstands and blocks under the tires. Sometimes it took literally hours for him to get it right. No way am I going to go through that with my future camping experiences.
