I think I know what you're talking about. The shoreline is already plugged into the RV, but you're saying that the other end, that normally plugs into the power source, also needs to be plugged into the RV? So, both ends will be plugged into the RV???
I see we were writing at the same time, but yes that is what I'm trying to say. :B
The shoreline that has one end already plugged into the motor home, is how the power gets inside, but if you don't have an automatic transfer switch, you have to either plug the other end to shore power, or to an outlet that supplies power from the generator.
