No signal lights, headlights, docking lights, fog lights

very strange the brake lites and signals are sometimes the same circuit but headlights are different circuit and the dock lights are different circuit;; power supplys are usually different and power usually serves many things besides lites etc ;; I wonder if there a relay somewhere that supplys common power
