Norcold fridge burner

I have a Norcold 1200 fridge Will the burner on propane shut off if the fridge gets to cold inside or will it stay on all the time on propane regardless of Temp
  • Electric or propane only 'heats' when cooling cycle is initiated by t-stat based on temp sensing of fin on food compartment by the thermistor

Fridge cycles on/off just like a regular fridge etc no compressor.

Here is a Owners Manual for you to read
    Norcold 1200 Series
  • Agree with David that it only runs when called for by the t-stat.

The system uses DSI to ignite the burner and is only lit when the T-Stat calls for cooling.
