Norcold fridge issues

I have a 2011 Jayco Greyhawk with a Norcold fridge.
I started it this morning and now 8 hours later the freezer is at 15 degrees and the fridge only got to 50 degrees on the coldest setting.. I have never had a problem with it before.. Any thoughts on what may be the problem??
  • Which MODEL???

    Using Electric or Propane?

Freezer has to get cooled down first as it is the first in the cooling cycle....after it has cooled then there is more capability for the ammonia vapor to absorb heat from food compartment.

12 hrs + is NOT unusual for both freezer and food compartment to reach proper temps

    Check temps in AM

Food compartment still NOT cooled down...
Then could be issue with electric heater element
Propane Flame....LP pressure, flame size/temp, cleanness of burner/flue
    Circuit board

I had it on propane for about 8 hours then I switched it to electric.
There were no error codes. I leveled the rig a bit ago hoping that might be the problem. I'll check it in the morning before we leave and clean the burner when we get there.. Yeah, kinda sucks to find this issue the day before going on a trip. I have a few coolers at the ready just in case..
    Thank you for your advice..

  • Well, after working on this most of yesterday I found the problem..
The door was not shutting all the way. Whoda thunk it???
The fridge was empty so it must be a warn hinge, or something like that. I'll have to work on it when I get home.
Thank you so much for your help..
