Congrats on your new RV. Filter any water coming into the coach first. I shut the ice maker off if I'm gonna be on my RV tank water. Second, I also have an inline drinking filter that feeds into a drinking water spout and a line to the ice machine. That's about the norm. There is overkill out there too. :)
