Norcold, Just got the bad news

Took rv in to have a non cooling Norcold 1200 checked out. Diagnosis comes back as the cooling unit is shot, so now I am checking my options as to just replacing the cooling unit only, est. $2100 or a new unit $$$$$$$$$. Also have to research the Amish cooling units to see if this is an option. If anyone has been through this ordeal (and I'm sure there are plenty)please let me know your thoughts.

    Get a quote on a residential fridge install including the inverter and more batteries you may find it interestingly close or less than replacing the cooling unit.
