I believe your two issues are connected. The fridge still needs 12VDC power even when on propane. The fact you're having issues with your battery bank leads me to believe your problem(s) lie there. Start with checking your battery bank with a meter. You've been given good advice on how to check that. I believe you said you replaced the batteries, correct? If so, make sure you installed them correctly. Make sure your disconnect switch is correct also. Do you have and know how to use, a meter?...Dennis
