Norcold n611

Hey Ya'll, I finally made the purchase. Now my fridge will work on AC, but not on LP. The fire is staying lit, it's pretty blue color. But the fridge will not work while using LP. Does anyone have any ideas?

Thanks in advance.

N611 uses electronic ignition for the LP flame. If you're seeing a flame, it's not a pilot flame it's the flame that energizes the fridge's cooling unit.

Are you seeing this flame through a view port, with a little sliding cover, in the lower right hand corner of the fridge?
  • WHY do you think Fridge is not working on LP?

You state "The fire is staying lit, it's pretty blue color."

Your N611 has a 'Cooling Monitoring System'
If the controls sense that the cooling unit is NOT cooling down then it shuts down the heat source/locks it out and then you get a 'No Co' error code (ON light flashes about five times every three seconds)

So how long are you running fridge before deciding it isn't cooling on LP?
  • Yes I am seeing the flame burn through the view port. It is a constant burn.

I was parked for 3 days boonedocking using LP for the fridge. I noticed stuff in the fridge was not cold, and the stuff in the freezer was thawing out.

None of the lights are flashing on the front of the unit.

I thought the whole fridge was done, but I noticed it was working after I got home and plugged it in.
  • I replaced the tremerstor on the inside.

So this evening, I took the part around the flame and let the flame run for awhile. It never went out.

I will check the fridge in the am.
