O.K. ... Here's a bona-fide 'stupid' question...

There's a lot of "RV" shows on t.v. these days. Most appear to have been filmed at Lazy Days in Tampa. Now...here's the question that I must have answered if the remainder of my life is to be meaningful ;)!!
Are the 'prospective buyers' on these shows actually people shopping for new RV's or are they actors? My vote goes for paid 'shoppers' aka actors.
  • I think it was on this forum that I saw a post this summer where the producers of the annual RV show (airs on January 1, IIRC) were looking for people who were willing to appear on camera and planning to attend the Hershey show in order to buy a new RV. It didn't mention compensation.
  • Boy what a stupid question... :)

But seriously.. I suspect they are real, but obviously chosen shoppers since shows like this are really low budget.. Why pay an actor when you have the family stories walking through the door every day..
