I'm looking for an OBDII port on my 1999 American Dream, but I can't find one. Is my coach too old to have one? It has a Spartan Chassis with a 330 HP Cummins ISC engine.
I don’t believe Diesel coaches have a traditional car / truck type obd port. It’s a round plug with a screw on cover. Unless you have the proper adapter and a gauge capable of reading the std obd reader won’t work. Normally one under the dash and or in the electric bay under the driver the American I looked at was in the bay.
No, it is not too old. Look in the engine compartment. Right side of rig just below body. On rear radiator, it is mounted on some one the support. I am not sure, but I don't think it is a true OBD connector!
