Oil Consumption-2011--V10
I have noticed excessive oil consumption, 1 1/2 quarts in 3300 miles. I come to find out there is Ford Technical Service Bulletin out for this problem--TSB 13-6-9. This is just an FYI

pauldub is right. the first thing that needs to be done by a Ford service center is to do a consumption test. This involves an oil change and a mark is put on the dip stick. Then drive 500 miles and have it checked again, then again at 1000 miles. If consumption is seen, the engine is removed and valve seals are placed.
