The H will give you greater sidewall strength and a slightly rougher ride than the G, but they will not increase the weight you can carry on each axle beyond the rating on your sticker.
Paul, believe you were looking at the 265/70. Mine is a 245/70. I'm not upset with the H rating just don't know why I can not find any reference to it on Goodyear charts for my size tire. In fact, I'm glad to have that higher rating even knowing the ride might be a bit harsher. A G rating would have been 'adequate' for my weight carried.
Right you are. I looked at the 245s and my eye dropped to the 265s as I was copying the numbers, dang, sorry about that. Comments may well hold depending on your GAWR. I assumed you were using RV tires, not truck tires, too harsh for my taste.
