Old Timer w/ No Memory needs help starting '85 VogueCoach

Have a Vogue '85 elite that I let set for a year. I now can't remember how to start it. The battery was dead and so I replaced it, but it still won't start like there is some switch or code I have forgotten to turn on. There is a keypad and I have a code written down but don't ever remember having to use it before. It doesn't seem to help me now anyway.

Can someone, especially with a Vogue, help me remember how to start this coach.
  • My older rig has a chassis battery switch located in the battery compartment.

It sounds like you have such a switch somewhere that is turned off.

Or.....the new battery connections are loose or incorrect?
  • Does your coach have a 'salesmans' switch to disconnect all power? Most do, and perhaps it is switched off. If your coach has such a switch and it is in the off position, nothing would activate until you switch it on.
  • Perhaps the coach batery is replaced instead of the truck chassis battery?
    Good Luck!

Everything is dead. Just like you would expect when you let the battery totally die. I drove it to where it is now a year ago and all was fine. Now nothing works. Put in new battery yesterday, and still nothing like something is turned off somewhere. I don't remember doing anything but exiting the coach when I parked it last year. I have no memory as to what is different or what extra thing I needed to do to make it start. That is why I am selling it, I just have no memory of how things work any longer.

  • Is there a main switch for the battery. Some coaches have 2 one for main one for house part. May be above entrance door
