Foretravel and some others build their own chassis, patterned after bus type monocoque and semi-monocoque chassis. It is said that one can roll over a early Foretravel Grand Villa, and once uprighted, they can be driven back to the Factory for repairs. Chassis cost is one of the reasons High Line manufacturers don't make low cost motorhomes.
