Older camper shower pan surround durability

We are looking at purchasing an older 2000-2007 AF/Lance unit. I hoping for a dry bath unit, but concerned with shower pan durability. We had a 2002 Jayco Eagle 5th wheel and the shower pan was cracking and splitting from its older age.
My question is, would a wet bath floor pan be more durable than a shower pan in a dry bath? This would be our first TC purchase and I'm not familiar with the thickness of the wet bath floor surround.
TIA!

  • I just reused 20 yo shower enclosure from camper to van conversion.
Regardless the age the fiberglass is really strong as I had to cut and bend the walls to fit curvy van walls.
So I would give it at least 30 more years of durability.
But that said not all shower pans are equal.
Few years ago in my rental I installed plastic shower pan from Home Depot.
That thing broke in 2 years.
So check how the pan was made.
Comparing dry to wet bath pans - pan is a pan, but wet baths have it more complicated, so more potential for failure IMHO.
Still not an issue for well made unit.
