Don't concern yourself with CC moving out of the RV production business. Most everything in, on or under the coach was built by someone else. Usually the only thing the final builder produces is the interior cabinets, front and rear caps along with a few other items.
Scan the maintenance records carefully. Regular chassis maintenance intervals is what you are looking for. Also roof seal rework. Check the side walls for wavy areas, bubbles and soft spots which is a sign of water leaks and associated delamination. Same for the roof. Look for water stains inside interior cabinets. If you want to go even further have the coach inspected, by two different techs. An independent RV person to check everything BUT the chassis (fridge, AC, heat and such) and a diesel tech to go over chassis and drive train. Think of the coach the same as buying a house concerning a pre-buy inspection. An RV tech might be capable of going over the chassis but getting someone with a bit more knowledge might be a better option if you budget will support.
Good luck with the coach.
