yup sadly you are probably very upside down on what you owe versus what it would sell for. Unless you bought it for a song and a dance.
My question is we only go out maybe 3-4 weeks per year total
For 'me' I can't see making ANY payments on an RV all year long and for many many years on something I only use 3 or 4 weeks a year. Making a payment on something just sitting in the driveway not being used would make me Jamaican crazy.
I've had both gas and DP. I buy all my RV's used and pay cash, and so far have sold each one of them for what I bought them for. But I do pay cash, by them right, so there isn't the added loan finances.
Having had both I found it is MUCH easier to have a gas MH repaired while on the road than a DP. 'Local repair shops' will take in a gas RV, they hang up on you when you tell them it's a DP!
