Thanks for all the well wishes. Surgery pain is much different than knee damage pain. Plus surgery pain has a short life expectancy. :). Yes, PT is very important. The pain is less and the knee feels stronger after doing PT. I'll be happy once I get rid of the drugs but they're necessary to keep the pain at a minimum so I feel like doing the exercises.
I received a titanium knee after several discussions and viewing what was available. I was surprised at the weight of it though! Only glitch I've had so far is because it's an industrial injury, WC feels we should be on drugs and good to go. Eventually, common sense won out and all is well now.
We are not in the motor home. We chose to wait for the TKR until we arrived in Mesa for the winter, since we have a mobile home there. Unfortunately, we will not be able to get out of here until mid May and it'll no doubt be warmer by then...:E.....Dennis
