Glad you are on the road for recovery had my left knee replaced 6 months ago and its been night and day difference, was released from PT after 2 months post surgery. Yes the pain is the worst but the end result is great. After traveling this summer plan on doing the right knee. Also 3 yrs ago DW had her right done and was a very bad experience and they had to do a manipulation at 4 months and was in PT for 7 and still not good, 4 weeks ago had her left knee done and everything is great. PT and walking are going to be your best friends for a while and they say it takes a full yr to 1.5 yrs to completely heal from a TKR.
