On the ROAD - to recovery that is....

Some days I simply want to give up and question whether I made the right decision. Other days the knee feels stronger than it's ever felt and life is good. With PT I know the pain will subside and I can get back to living life as it was meant to be. I'm also stir crazy. While I'm not in the coach, it's right around the corner and I can see it every day. I thought I heard it calling my name the other night but soon realized it must be the meds. :B. Anyway, everyone, the doc, the nurses and the PT masochists, all say I'm doing better than average. It just doesn't feel that way to me. Four weeks post surgery tomorrow and I'm at 117 degrees and fighting to get that next 3 degrees.

I appreciate all the well wishes and your prayers. I'm looking forward to the summer months and relaxing. Patience is not one of my better virtues...Dennis
