Onan quiet diesel

Or it's preheating due to low temperature.

We are in Yuma Az for the winter so I think its time for a filter change, can there be a air problem when changing it out?

If you are starting the generator a couple of times a day, then the fuel pressure is staying built up. By not running the genny but once in awhile, the fuel pressure will bleed off and then the pump will run longer.

I an running mine twice a day and on the second time, there is maybe one click and the genny starts

So this is a electric pump getting up to pressure before the gen to start? that would figure in my case, the fuel filer has not been changed out in years.
