opinions on 2007 damon astoria 3773

Appeared to be in good condition or is in good condition after a close inspection? It is 23 years old. Maintenance records complete? Tire manufacturer dates?

You can EASILY boost that HP and torque 30% without damaging anything.

not 23 yrs old, 13 yrs old. appears to be in good condition as I drove it and looked it over as much as I could in the lot.
All I'm looking for is maybe someone that owns or has owned a similar model and how they liked it or the bugs they had with it. I will have it checked out if and when I decide to pull the trigger as I will have 30 days to decide.

Not true. According to Freightliner, it has the Allison 2500 transmission, not 3000:

I always loved the look of that model year Astoria. The rear radiator is an ongoing debate. After reading the pros and cons I wouldn’t walk away from one. Thor also has a reputation for lack of quality. Although on an 07 I would think that would be a moot point! I would look for delamination and other issues suck as leaks. If that checks out then have the chassis inspected real good. Air bags, brake system and lines/hoses.
Hopefully someone will post that owns one with real world info.
