Overweight Toad?
So I just noticed yesterday that my tow hitch says max 3500 lbs. With my tow dolly and car, I'm going to be up around 4200 lbs. Is that too much? I know there has to be some wiggle room in that 350...

I'm still waiting for someone to give a specific example of what is going to fail and how it is going to put everyone's lives at risk on the road due to the weight rating of the hitch. Dennis came the closest with a tire blowout but that doesn't have anything to do with the hitch rating.
Were those hitch failures a result of towing a couple hundred pounds over the hitch weight rating on a TOW DOLLY? He has stated he has inspected the hitch and frame.
