- ReferralManExplorerI'm the guy that will be full-timing in a big Renegade SuperC. "Tom/Barb" is trying to convince me that I need a big NewMar like the Essex (or something similar) if I plan on living in it full-time. I don't want a pusher. First... I'll be towing a huge stacker aluminum trailer full of toys, tools, and equipment for my business. Second... I want the safety, reliability, towing, and load carrying capacity that a Class 8 chassis based coach has to offer. Will I be giving up a little living space, sure I will. But I'm a single guy and I don't need a rolling mansion to live in. Nor do I need all the frilly foo-foo stuff you find in the higher end coaches. I'm a meat and potatoes guy. Give me high quality name brand appliances/furniture, hardwood doors/trim, a few nice accents and I'm a happy camper. I don't need all the fancy graphics either. The reason for a plain white coach/trailer is that I can easily "wrap" the entire unit with my business graphics/logos, much like the Monster, Red Bull , or Wrangler coaches you see so often at racing or rodeo events.
Since "Tom/Barb" opened this thread, I'd thought I'd jump in and clarify a few things. Please keep the comments coming and I'll be happy to answer any questions. - Edd505ExplorerYou will never be told you need a bigger truck, you over gross, or want for more power climbing mountains or descending them. Pull a large trailer with the toys, pickup and ATV or M/C.
The comment on no storage, I camped next to one in AZ and talked with the owner as he opened all the different storage compartments getting camp setup. Looks like 5 compartments on one side, 12" out of the middle for a drive-line, and it's how wide?
If you can afford it go for it. - 10forty2ExplorerMe, personally, I like the Super Cs.
- path1ExplorerSafer cab
- wnytaxmanExplorerI would always be concerned about a "new" used rig for sale. Why is it being sold so soon after purchase? Was this thing a massive lemon that the owner is just trying to dump? Could the unit have been a factory buy back because of problems associated with the unit? I would be more concerned with the whys on this unit than anything else.
As to the Super C's in general....yeah they look cool! - Two_JayhawksExplorer

Your thoughts on these?
I always loved the class 8 conversions & I'll leap frog over 100 class A's to see one at a RV show. I'm pretty sure I understand all the selling points, a huge one for me would be the safety a class 8 cab has over any class A. However I have never chose one to purchase. I suppose it's a combination of less interior room, less basement room, and (I think) interiors seem to be a bit behind as well. Different strokes! - jplante4Explorer II30,000 lb towing capacity is way above anything you can get on a class A. I saw one of these on an extreme RV show that was double hauling a 30 foot toy hauler and a 30 foot boat.
- kerrlakeRooExplorerGreat , if you are looking for a new hobby, or something to fill/use up your time. Polishing all that mirror finished chrome on the back will take a lot of it.
- Whokares2ExplorerI believe that is called a Super C, not a class A.
