My question was, Why do you need that capacity for full timing?
His load as discussed was well with in the capacity of a Newmar Essex at 54.5K pounds

Yeah, I keep my eye on RacingJunk and have a nephew who is involved in the horse show and rodeo world. Still have to sell my house and all the contents yet before I pull the trigger. When I'm ready I'm sure the right one will eventually come along.

I'll have a commercial policy regardless. It's the CDL/FCC motor carrier rules that are foggy. Some say you're good if it's a business vehicle for personal business use and not for hire, others say you're a "commercial carrier". I'll definitely be getting a firm ruling on the matter before I hit the road.

Front axles are 12K + GAWR depending on the chassis (Freightliner, Volvo, International) I end up with. I'll never come close in a million years of maxing them out.

The comment on no storage, I camped next to one in AZ and talked with the owner as he opened all the different storage compartments getting camp setup. Looks like 5 compartments on one side, 12" out of the middle for a drive-line, and it's how wide?
