Parking long term with slide out "almost out".

I m parking our unit under a roof. It allows the bedroom slide to extend fully,but the galley slide is about 3 inches from fully extended. Will this harm anything? We will be parked here until May...

It will not do any harm. Slides MUST be fully extended or retracted to give a positive seal. With your slide partially extended, you will not have a positive seal. You will have air gaps from the wipe seals. Loss(slight) of AC cooling and furnace heating. If the roof cover protects from rain or snow getting on the slide roof, then water intrusion should not be a problem. Doug
