Parking long term with slide out "almost out".

i store mine in a fully enclosed bay - i always extend my slides at least a few inches to allow the seals to expand (no need for them to be completely compressed all the time).

as for critters - i spray the parameter of my storage bay floor a few times a year to keep the bugs out & i do not store the coach with any food inside....i do keep beer cold in the basement electric cooler though :D
