i have left my slides 1/2 to 3/4 of the way extended (in our storage bay) for weeks on end (and my coach has deeper slides then most diesel pushers)...ive never seen any sign of damage, unusual wear or flexing of any kind.
my coach is close to home & i been doing upgrades on the coach for quite some time off & on...i walk in and out and all around the coach (including being on the roof) - AND i keep our coach on the jacks with at least 1 or 2 inches of air gap under the tires (to prevent flat spotting of the tires).
