Parking your rig on the street or on the driveway in East LA vs. Castaic or Altadena will all get very different responses so it really depends on the neighborhood (neighbors).
Definitely depends on the area, and the neighborhood. I live in Castaic which is North unincorporated LA county. Many of the neighborhoods here are newer homes where RV parking is not possible due to very small yards and short driveways, street parking also would be frowned upon. But MY neighborhood is older built in 1981, most homes have enough room for an RV, there is no association. So guess where all the toy owners have bought homes?? YEP! 75%+ have a RV, boat, work trailer etc. NOT an exaduration. Everyone here keeps up their homes and vehicles, everyone is happy to be able to keep it at home. NO ONE is going to complain. This is one thing I looked for when buying, how many RVs were in the neighborhood. We have been here since 2006
