Gotta agree. We paid $7500 for a 1990 Winnebago Warrior about 6 years ago and frankly I think we overpaid.
Needed generator work, cab AC work, all new tires. Roof leaked, shower had to be ripped out and rebuilt. We've got delamination on the sides under the main windows.
Everything works now but the cruise control (and you can't get parts for that anymore), but she is not a pretty RV.
You're in for rough times if you join the "Old RV club". The $10,000 price tag might sound good and like what you can afford but if you are going to put another $10K into it fixing it up you might as well spend $20K up front.
