Pick it up Friday

My DW and I have been talking about moving from our TT to a motorhome and we pick it up Friday. It is a new Thor A. C. E. 30.1 we saw at the Indy RV show lasat week. We had been talking about a two or three year old instead of new but she fell in love with it. It looks good and has what both of us wanted; V-10 Ford, automatic levelers, electric awning and we love the floor plan.
Now I can quit looking at the TT and class "C" forums and just visit here. Really looking foreward to picking it up, we are both pretty excited. I have been watching all the videos about how to drive them and feel pretty good, a lot better than when we got our TT and I had no towing experience whatsoever. Jim.

    It will be about 150 miles to bring it home and we plan to take it out for a day cruise this Sunday. That depends on the weather, right now the forecast is calling for snow and that is not something we want to drive in if not absoutly necessary. We enjoy a couple County parks in the area; Forrest Glen and Mill Creek and I go to another in Indiana for an IDPA event every year. Then about next Janurary we plan to take a couple weeks and visit in Florida (I am retired but DW still works).
    Glad to hear from an owner of an A.C.E. that is happy with it. For the price range it looked like a well built coach and the floor plan fits for us. Jim.

    We have a 2014 ACE 30.1. Except for a few minor repairs which I fixed myself it is a great motorhome. That being said we decided we wanted a little more room and ordered a new 2015 Allegro in Dec of last year. We pick it up next month. Enjoy your ACE it's a great motorhome for the money.

    I see your from Westville Illinois. We live about 20 miles from you. Good luck with your new ACE.
