Just a couple of points on items that have been mentioned. If you haven't used the RV lanes in several years because they were slow you might give it another shot. The new style pumps that issue receipts are faster than the old type. If you use a Visa card the pump will stop at $100. Using a Mastercard the pump will work to $495. I have not found an RV lane that I could not easily get out of with a 40-ft coach. Regardless of the station you have to watch all of the vehicles in any station. For those of us with a PenFed card, the pay at the pump option is not available in the truck lanes. Therefore, the truck lanes cost me my 5% rebate (up to $0.20/gallon). When I go to the truck lanes I use a Pilot RV Plus card which allows me to start and pay at the pump. I still need to go inside if I want a receipt. I have not seen any DEF pumps in any RV lanes to date. In 10 years of using the RV lanes I have not seen more than six auto/pickups in the lanes. Finally, I am retired and refuse to get in a rush. I use the stop for fuel just like stopping at a rest area; get out walk around, get refreshed.
