Been doing this long enough now to know there are a lot of guys out there that shouldn't be. Not saying this is one of them, but it does make me wonder what the whole story is.
I've seen a lot of RV'ers (me included) hit road debris, pot holes, and curbs. Guessing some may do it more often then others based on their reaction time and eyesight. A tire will suffer from early failure if abused beyond the engineers specs even if new and fully inflated.
