The fact of the matter is that driving a RV, with precious cargo, is a very serious business. It really takes a very good and healthy driver to successfully handle a blowout event, in a front/steer tire at highway speeds. And, IMO opinion, a very good driver will train constantly for such an event. The self-training starts with knowing everything you can learn about your tires (brands, air pressure, loading, etc), and first main DRIVING thing to train for is the all-important FIRST step, which is always have a firm grip on the steering wheel AND always turn (as necessary) away from the initial pull. The second all-important step is do NOT step on the brake! If you're the type of driver who is easily startled by the BOOM and PULL of a blowout in a front tire.........your chances of performing the proper first steps are slim....IMO.
Here's the another thing, do us a favor and tell us all the details of the event, if happens to you. Thanks
