Plugged in and Generator
New to Class A and wondering a couple of basic questions: Will it hurt anything if I'm plugged into shore power and then start the generator? Same question but if I start the coach...

Most motorhomes have a "transfer switch" that prevents interconnecting problems. What isn't for sure is if it will switch to generator as long as you're plugged in or not. Some will, some won't. Starting the engine won't have any effect.
