While I haven't encountered this problem personally, yet, it would seem that a good solution to preventing the screws from pulling loose would be some sort of lower support on the bottom of the door. There are numerous things that come to mind like small roller ball things. Of course the downside may be marking the floor as a result. ??
Maybe I'm all wet, but the constant highway motion seems to place undue stress on the mounting screws not encountered by stationary in-house doors.
hipower, I agree with you regarding,

Currently as a temporary band-aid, I've ripped a 2X4 and am using it under the door as a support. It happens to fit perfectly underneath my particular door to keep it at the proper height. I have another piece of the same that the door slides out onto when in use. When not using the door, we just set the extra piece of wood out of the way until needed. Again, this is just a band-aid so we can use the door for now. I've also contemplated using a couple of small wheels or casters under the door for it to roll along on, therefore relieving the hanging/pulling-down force of the door when traveling. I haven't gotten into it that far yet though. Marring of the floor isn't a concern in my application as the area where the door is used is carpeted (which may then cause a challenge if trying to use wheels or casters under the door).
