My Porter Cable comes in handy for winterizing, as well. Set that sucker on 60 psi and use a quick connect
adapter at my water hose connection. Bypass water heater and turn on each hot and each cold outlet until nothing but air comes out.
After that I pour a little antifreeze in each trap and in the washing machine to run through the pump. Usually takes about half a gallon.
Easier and quicker than pumping the pink stuff through the whole system. Only takes one person to complete the job and no one to change the antifreeze jugs out.
