Portable space heater

Hi all,
We will be heading to the mountains in October and probably looking at some cold nights. Anyone have experience with portable heaters? Considering getting one instead of using up all my propane. Last year I had to "break camp" and get more propane. A real pain! Besides, electric at park is free. I would appreciate any feedback and recommendations as to brands, models. Thanks

  • My camper is tiny, but I use this: http://www.amazon.com/Lasko-754200-Ceramic-Adjustable-Thermostat/dp/B000TKDQ5C/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1374245830&sr=8-1&keywords=ceramic+heater

It gets the whole trailer HOT! A couple of these in different areas should keep you very comfortable at a good cost.
  • We use two electric heaters. One portable in the bedroom and one built-in in the living room. They work fine down to ~40F or so than it's time for the Hurricane.
