That is the motorhome manufacture added frame extension onto the Ford frame, they never make the frame extension very strong, this has happened before with other folks, what you need to do is have hitch removed and new stronger frame extension added to inside that frame all the way back to factory frame and welded in place than hitch reinstalled, it was done on mine to avoid this and to tow more weight, I will find my pics and load them for you to see.
