Yes that is a problem
You missed where he said;
Also, a supplemental braking system (Readybrake) was/is always used with both.
I agree with it being a problem and somewhat easy to fix.
With that said, I certainly would be sharing this with the MFG as if it bend that easily I'm thinking a recall should be considered.
All frame extensions on gas motorhomes are weaker than Ford/Workhorse frame, its just a matter of time and pressure till it bends or breaks.
