I agree with Ivylog regarding severity and ease of fix etc. I see the OP says he towed a Van with a tow dolly? its quit likely hitting a dip in the road where the tow dolly/van weight exceeded the 500lb rating ;;the tow dolly solid front tow arm could act like a leverage bar
