In most of the country now is the worst time to shop for a camper cause its the season and there are a lot of folks like you that frankly wanna go camping!
Try Craigslist and bargain papers and estate sales/auction and you might get lucky and find a deal
Otherwise be prepared to pay top dollar for a good used unit.
