If this is a foot operated parking brake then you need to invert. yourself and stick your head under the dash near the parking breake pedal
You should see a pin switch
There should be two wires attached IF not or if only one look for a wire that is designed to push onto a tab and has a 2nd tab on it.. Yup, that is the wire for the jacks.. If nothing is connnected to the pin switch look for a pair of wires with a connecor designed to connect tothe tab on the brake switch.
Option 2:
Brake switch often fails to close.. Release breaks and try again usually works,, I sometimes go 3 tries.
