The service manager is not 100 per cent right.
The chassis and coach batteries should not be connected so as to run down chassis battery from inverter unless there is another problem.
You should be able to jump start the rig. Locate the chassis battery, and connect to jump start vehicle normally. Cycle the battery disconnects, off then back on as they may have dropped out. depending on type.
Please post make and model of rig. You may get better responses.
