Not to hijack, but I have another kind of problem with my POWERGEAR hydraulic jacks (only 1)....it's leaking.
PowerGear tells me they have no dealer network, and I would have to order and buy anything from a dealer (they will not sell to me...the end user)...and they don't offer re-building services.
Not really trusting an RV dealer to rebuild for a long lasting repair, so far I cannot find a hydraulic shop in my area that would do the job.
I was advised that I really should forget the rebuild and buy a new unit.
Any opinions out there? Any idea of prices? (I will remove and re-install myself).
